Manufacturing capabilities

Can size, thickness, and layer-count limits be combined?

Not automatically. Maximum size, thickness, layer count, copper, holes, and fine features interact and must be reviewed as one construction.

Direct answer

No. HXLFAB publishes an envelope of up to 850 × 520 mm panel size, 0.15–7.0 mm finished thickness, and 1–30 layers, but the simultaneous combination is not pre-approved. Material, copper, hole aspect, tolerances, registration, panel utilization, and equipment routing determine practical feasibility.

Submit the full constraint set

State finished board dimensions, whether the 850 × 520 mm value is relevant to a board or customer panel, finished thickness and tolerance, layer count, copper, smallest finished hole, material, and critical registration requirements.

Near-boundary reviews

Designs near one or more published limits may require different panelization, tooling, test, material, or tolerance assumptions. The quotation should record the confirmed construction rather than relying on a generic capability table.

Next useful step

Final capability, commercial terms, and project records are confirmed against the actual RFQ and written project documents.
