Getting a quote

Can I ask a question before uploading files?

Yes. Files are useful, but they are not required for an early technical, commercial, NDA, or supplier-onboarding question.

Reviewed
Direct answer

Yes. Email sales engineering with the board type, approximate layer count, quantity, the design decision you need, and any timing constraint. Contact HXLFAB before uploading if an NDA, export-control review, government-program restriction, or customer-specific data workflow may apply.

What to include in the first message

A short, specific brief is enough to route the question to CAM, process, quality, or commercial review.

  • Board type and approximate construction
  • Prototype, pilot, or production quantity
  • The material, via, copper, impedance, or compliance concern
  • The decision date or delivery target you are working toward
  • Whether production files are available yet

Contact first when data needs special handling

Do not use the website upload as an implied acceptance of restricted or regulated data. Agree the handling route and any NDA requirement in writing before transmission.

  • Customer-mandated NDA
  • Export-controlled or government-restricted data
  • A retention period different from the current website schedule
  • A customer portal or named-recipient workflow

Next useful step

Final capability, commercial terms, and project records are confirmed against the actual RFQ and written project documents.
