Direct answer

The current website RFQ accepts up to 10 files, 100 MB per file, and 200 MB total. Supported extensions include common PCB data, documents, and ZIP, 7Z, RAR, TGZ, GZ, or TAR archives. Uploaded production files are stored in private Cloudflare R2 object storage and accessed through token-controlled RFQ endpoints rather than public site links.

Supported extensions

The current allowlist includes .gbr, .ger, .pho, .art, .drl, .xln, .odb, .brd, .pcb, .fab, .txt, and .pdf, plus .zip, .7z, .rar, .tgz, .gz, and .tar archives. Compress ODB++ folders before upload.

Practical security and packaging

Use a single controlled archive where practical, remove unrelated data, and retain your local source package. Uploaded archives remain untrusted input; file-type and size controls are not a promise that content is malware-free. Agree a special workflow before submitting restricted data.

  • Do not include passwords in the same message as an archive
  • Do not forward project access links outside the authorized team
  • Contact HXLFAB if a link or project detail may have been exposed
  • Request a different route before upload if customer policy requires it

Next useful step

Final capability, commercial terms, and project records are confirmed against the actual RFQ and written project documents.
