HXLFAB does not publish one carrier, Incoterm, payment method, or payment schedule for every project. The quotation or order confirmation should state the agreed Incoterm, destination, carrier or shipping method, packing, customs responsibility, payment terms, quotation validity, and change conditions.
Shipment details to align
A production lead time and a delivered date are not the same. Transit, customs, destination access, and customer approval timing should be separated from fabrication schedule.
- Named place and Incoterm
- Carrier or service level
- Exporter, importer, duty, and tax responsibility
- Packing, labeling, moisture, or customer-specific requirements
- Requested ship date versus requested delivery date
Commercial document checks
Confirm currency, taxes, bank or payment instructions, deposit or balance timing where applicable, quotation validity, cancellation or change conditions, and the legal entity shown on the project documents. Verify sensitive payment changes through an established channel.
Next useful step
Final capability, commercial terms, and project records are confirmed against the actual RFQ and written project documents.
