Tell HXLFAB that the build is intended to progress from prototype or NPI into pilot or volume production. Keep the material, stack-up, fabrication data, process assumptions, test, acceptance criteria, and revision history controlled. Any proposed change between stages should be reviewed and approved before release.
Control the transferable baseline
A functional prototype is easier to compare with later builds when the manufacturing variables that matter are recorded.
- Released design and drawing revision
- Approved material and stack-up
- Via, copper, surface-finish, and special-process route
- Electrical test and targeted inspection
- Required project records and packing
- Approved deviations and corrective changes
Reconfirm commercial and capacity assumptions
Prototype pricing, panel utilization, test method, material allocation, and schedule do not automatically carry into volume. Quantity, production route, quality records, and commercial terms are confirmed for the next stage.
Next useful step
Final capability, commercial terms, and project records are confirmed against the actual RFQ and written project documents.
